  1. Talk v1.1.0 & Talkd v1.1.0 is an implementation of the UNIX Talk
  2. protocol for Macs with MacTCP.  Talkd is a background only application
  3. that notifies you when a talk connection is requested, and Talk is a 
  4. talk client, allowing you to talk to other machines. Talk and Talkd 
  5. work with both System 6 and 7.

  7. This is basically a bug fix release.  I keep saying "Talk really needs 
  8. a major rewrite", but I keep not doing it, so I may as well make the 
  9. current version available.

  11. Changes since v1.0.6:
  12. ~Option to automatically connect to incoming talk requests.
  13. ~Dimmed the Talk button when an invalid address was selected.
  14. ~Changed RecieveKey to use TEInsert instead of TEKey to avoid TE calling ShieldCursor
  15. ~Added Zoom state preserving.
  16. ~Preserve text selection across RecieveKey - still flickers though :(
  17. ~Support selecting a particular terminal to talk to.
